Healthy testosterone levels go well past just being able to build more muscle.

The symptoms of low testosterone levels:

If you are suffering any of the symptoms spoken about in the low testosterone side of things then it will pay you to go to your local physician and get your testosterone levels checked.
As we age this becomes especially important not only for the sake of muscle mass and sex drive but for health too.
This is because after the age of 35 we naturally lose around 1% testosterone per year as we age. So it is important to keep it up for our well being.
My aim today is to share 5 simple and practical ways you can naturally increase your testosterone without steroids.
So lets get to it!
1. Start Exercising and Lifting Heavy Weights
If you haven’t gotten into the gym just yet then this is a great excuse to do so! Exercising and heavy weight lifting in particular help stimulate testosterone in men, this is especially pronounced as we get older.
Weight lifting is also great at strengthening ligaments and bones, which is another added benefit as we age.
But remember this won’t be happening from squatting 40lbs. You need to lift heavy enough to build muscle.
2 Squats and Deadlifts!
Heavy resistance training has been proven to increase testosterone levels, however not all exercises are created equal when it comes to this.
No other exercise works as much sheer muscle as both the squat and deadlift do, these muscles include the glutes, hamstrings, quads, calves, core and lower back, over 85% of your body.
This in turn not only increases testosterone but increases overall muscle size of your entire body due to the increase in testosterone and load placed on all the muscles in your body.
They took 10 men and tested their testosterone using the squat and then a week later the leg press.
They found that the testosterone levels of these men were significantly higher with the squat!
3. Stop Watching Porn!
Watching too much porn can lead to lower testosterone levels in men.
Although not the porn itself has been proven to do this, but the after effects can and WILL.
Excessive porn use affects your testosterone levels because of the way it greatly effects the way the mind processes things.
Too much porn can leave you feeling unmotivated, tired, sluggish and weak just to name a few, because it destroys the brains reward circuitry.
Cutting this out is easier said than done however it will go a long way to increasing your testosterone and quality of life.
You will find yourself renewed and motivated not only in the gym but all walks of your life after cutting this out.
Here is a great resource to find out why porn is so destructive to your mind
4. Get Enough Sleep
Getting enough sleep goes a long way to having a healthy life as well as healthy testosterone.
Some studies suggest sleep is as important to build muscle fast as diet and training is!
Aim to get at the very least 8 hours of sleep per night, if you are not already doing this give it a try and watch your testosterone levels increase!
Getting enough sleep will not only improve testosterone but it will improve your workouts too.
This will lead you to be refreshed and be able to push harder in and out of the gym.
